@Harmony Harrison - you and I are kindred spirits, I can tell
I’m a fellow intuitive, and although my husband thinks I’m crazy, I do communicate with our animals! Looking forward to getting to know you in our journey here - and to all of you!
-sandraOctober 3, 2024 at 10:44 pm #1178Hi!
I’m Sylvia from Murrells Inlet, S.C. I finally decided to sign up for the course!! I’ve enjoyed creative writing since my elementary school days. Besides scrapbooking and photography, I LOVE to write haiku poetry. My most prized possession is a scrapbook-journal of sorts that I had my Mom complete so I’d remember our family history.I want to take it one step further…..and also share my haiku and photography. I will then, cross another goal off my bucket list.I plan to get over my fear of thinking my writing is not good enough, and I do proudly call myself a writer already. It will be a pleasure going through this journey with all the other unique writers in this “class”.

October 3, 2024 at 11:10 pm #1179Hello there, I’m Lisa Rosendahl.
I have been blogging for a few years at lisarosendahl.com and editing a multi-contributor blog at womenofhr.com. I love to write, enjoy working with other writers but am no longer inspired by the topics I am writing about.
I am looking forward to using the ideas from this course (and you) to reframe my writing and find the niche that energizes me again. I am traveling a bunch the next few weeks so may be late jumping in but rest assured, I’ll be there!

I’m David from Destin, FL. I own and operate 14 McDonald’s restaurants and have a passion for leadership. I’ve recently started blogging at http://www.livingandleading.com and enjoy writing. I have a personal goal of writing a book, but I’m still working on word smithing. It’s funny, now I really wish that I had paid more attention in my college English classes!David
I’m excited about the course and interacting with everyone.

October 4, 2024 at 2:56 am #1186Hi there!
I’m Steve Tandberg from Albuquerque, NM. I am a resident physician, father of 3 beautiful girls and husband to a much better person than I!
Blogging and writing is a whole new world to me. I wrote a few children’s books and will be releasing my debut novel in November. This course and community came along at the perfect time for me. I have been calling myself a writer more often lately, which sure feels good.I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you.

tandbergbooks.comOctober 4, 2024 at 2:25 pm #1196Hello all, I’m Kent Faver from East Texas. My wife and I have been married since 1984 and we have two daughters in college, one is married. I am a decent business owner and a bad blogger - hoping this course and you folks can help me get serious about writing.
October 4, 2024 at 3:00 pm #1197I have been married to my high school sweetheart for nearly 39 years. We have 5 awesome adult children and 6 amazing grandchildren aged 4 and under, whom I delight to care for at least 4 days a week (not all of them at once!). I believe God has gifted me to be a writer, but I struggle with what to say and to whom to say it. I also had to come way out of my comfort zone to introduce myself to this group; but I believe I will learn more if I get to know y’all.
October 4, 2024 at 3:11 pm #1198Hello everyone! It’s awesome to read all the intros from all my new classmates and fellow tribe writers! It’s an inspiring group already!
I’m from Austin, TX. I am a writer and the owner of a small brand development firm called Thoughtful Revolution. My company has started a specialized label to help writers called Author Launch. We major on building well-branded inexpensive WordPress.org blogs, and we also offer copywriting, copy editing, and other writer-related services.
I am also working on getting a fresh message into our culture to help the Church think and love better when it comes to the LGBT community. I blog about that and related aspects of life at ChristyMcFerren.com. You also may have seen some of my writing at Prodigal Magazine where I currently write a monthly feature.
I’m excited to get to know everyone and grow together as writers!
Best,
ChristyOctober 4, 2024 at 3:35 pm #1199Hi guys,
It is great to be here. I’m Erin and I live in LA. I blog for the Huffington Post about “women’s stuff,” but find that more men than I ever would have thought read the Women’s Section. I also have my own blog that is finding it’s voice, http://www.erinjoyhenry.com.I am excited to learn more about the blogging world. My wordpress frustration has already been triggered, as I cannot figure out how to add my photo to my profile. Anybody?
ThanksOctober 4, 2024 at 3:42 pm #1200Hi everyone, I’m Julie Hedlund. I’m excited about the course although I won’t be starting until October 15th. We’re going to a wedding and then a family vacation this next week. I’ll try to get caught up and join in shortly thereafter!
My website includes a blog at . I have built up a tribe over the years, but I am trying to grow it as I expand in new directions. The most significant direction at the moment is running writers retreats - the first one scheduled for Florence, Italy in April of next year.
Can’t wait to work with you all!
Julie
