Hello all,
Just arrived! I’m writing a few ebooks (immigration, tech, and startups) in the coming weeks and months. Looking forward to sharing ideas and building my tribe. Immediate need is finding feedback readers for my upcoming book on Netflix.

Procrastination is one of my gigantic issues. I have difficulty finishing something because I want it to be perfect. Hence, the reason for waiting to introduce myself. What’s up with that anyway? Nothing will ever be perfect as a matter of fact I doubt there has ever been a perfect story written, maybe the Bible, though it is about imperfect people so it makes it imperfect in itself.
I’m Teresa Shields Parker. I was born writing. I can’t ever remember not being enamored with the written word. A journalism-religion major, I’ve worked for everything from the West Jr. High School Sword and Shield to weekly and daily newspaper, magazines and my own publications. I’ve published a book or two.
These days I’m writing articles mainly about real people living real lives going through real struggles intersecting with a real God. Interspersed in my blog are personal reflections and admissions of my own short-comings.
My goal is to put together books based on the numerous articles I’ve published various places. They won’t be perfect so I just need to get started. Correction, I will get started. Tomorrow.
See it wasn’t perfect. I forgot to give the url of my blog: http://www.realGodrealpeople.com.
Hi, I’m Amy… finally writing an intro : ) I’ve been enjoying the class so far but haven’t been involved in the forums yet.
I’m a singer-songwriter, community developer, and soon to be blogger(again). My new blog is about local social creativity and wholehearted living. Talk to you soon!
