Hi Jo! This is my first time and I hope I can buckle down and get through because my reason for joining is to better market my book, coming out in a couple of months. I’ve been blogging (www.brokennesstobeauty.wordpress.com) since 2008 and a book came out of it (quite unexpectedly). I need all the help and info I can get to accomplish this goal! What are your reasons for being here in TW? (And I wish you all the best!)

I sure know how you feel about life interrupting. I intend to get down to business on this, my first, attempt at the TW course. Hope to “see” you around on the forums!

Oh, and by the way, Angel, my blog is http://www.brokennesstobeauty.wordpress.com in case you want to take a peek at it. I knew nothing about blogging or setting up a blog (my husband set up my first one on blogger, jacquesjourney.blogspot.com)and with a book on how to set up a wordpress blog (they change all the time so you need the most recent) I set my own blog site up! Well, I did have some help from Randy, my hubby, on getting a host, etc. But all that to say, if I can do it, so can you. My book title is also Brokenness to Beauty: Transforming Your Brokenness into a Beautiful Life (will be out early next year). I’m sure you’ll be able to write something like that yourself!

Hi Angel. I am so impressed with the replies you’ve had so far! What a group of wonderful people. I also agree with what has been said so far, and so well said. I went to your gofundme page and I plan to share this on facebook, and donate too. I will pray for you and Lee as well. My story is that I’ve lived with a chronic disease since age 13 (MG, myasthenia gravis, a severe muscle weakness), and when I was diagnosed with breast cancer over 40 years later I started writing a blog (my husband thought I should, and set up the blog!), which to my total surprise has culminated in a book, about to be published! I was surprised because I never considered myself a writer nor did I ever aspire to write a book! The book came out of writing the blog; so many reader/friends asked me when I was going to write a book or “my story” that after a few years I got the message I needed to do this! We all start out novices! So take heart and keep writing. And look, you already have more friends praying for Lee. God bless you, Angel.

Great, Chris! Now that Thanksgiving is past I intend to finish up Module 1 as well and plow into the next one. Have you been to the other sites: facebook page and Intentional blogging? I need to get into this forum thing to connect with others!

Welcome! There are a lot of tribesmen/women out here to help. I’m trying to learn this social media tribe culture myself. Getting out there (in our work and in this course) will be the key! Glad you’ve joined up.

Hi Eric, welcome! I visited your site and I think we have a lot in common! Check out my blog http://brokennesstobeauty.wordpress.com. Let me know what you think. My book, Brokenness to Beauty: Transforming Your Brokenness into a Beautiful Life, is almost through the design phase in publishing. I joined Tribe Writers to broaden my blog readership to help market my book. I need to get the email plugin on my blog site! Any words of wisdom for me?
