Duane, we should talk some more to find out specifics about our areas of interest in learning and discussing the Bible.

Bradley, I am glad you asked. I don’t pretend to have answers for most people’s problems (I know little about golf; I’ve been through break-ups but don’t have an answer to those tough times; and I am not a master writer). However, I think bringing attention to each of those types of problems can help lead to encouragement, which helps the person struggling feel better, and solutions, which helps the person struggling actively deal with their struggle. I cannot provide all solutions, but when a large group of people notices someone in a difficult situation, surely someone will be able to help.

That said, in my writing I tend to focus on how to deal with emotional and behavioral struggles more than helping people improve their skill sets. In other words, I give more focus on the second choice you gave and not much focus on the first and third.
