Hello, everyone! I have a suggestion for the course that I’d very much like to give, and figured this was probably the best place to share it.
Although I think we have a great support system in the forums, I think there may be a better way to focus effort to help everyone stay on target with one another. My suggestion is, what if we are to try out “blog partnerships?” Again, just a suggestion (we could give it a preliminary test run and see how it works out) but I think if we paired off, we’d be able to give and receive concentrated support more consistently, boosting the pace and consistency of growth on all sides! This would be in addition to the community of course—just an option open to anyone interested in partnering their blog with someone to give and receive more concentrated support during blog development.
My suggestion for setting this up would be to perhaps open a blog-partnership-request thread where anyone interested could drop in, give a little background on their blog pertaining to its vision and goals, post a link to it, and then ask if anyone would be interested in striking up a blog partnership for concentrated feedback during its developmental stage. Anyone interested in trying out blog partnership themselves will be perusing the thread, and if they find a blog they really resonate with (of the ones posted) they can reply back with their own blog and a short description of it, asking that person if they’d be interested in partnering up. If none of the blogs posted thus far really resonate for that person, they can add their own request for partnership to the thread, joining their own blog to the list of requests.
Would anyone be interested in trying this out? We could give it a preliminary test run and see if it brings in any results!

Hi Nicole!
If you do end up finding a good chunk of other users who are interested in this, there is a “Writing Critiques” forum here in the community that we could maybe utilize for something similar.
Also, would encourage you to join the Facebook Tribe Writers Group if you haven’t already. That is a great place to get connected with other people’s blogs as well!

Hi Abby, thanks for your response! The Writing Critiques section looks great for specific posts, but I was thinking perhaps something that targets the overall development of the blog in general, the direction it’s going, suggestions for its audience- I thought if we could test out pair ups between blogs with specifically similar interests/audience, it would be a great way to bring out more potential in our support system here. Your feedback is appreciated!
