I just listened to Jeff’s podcast on publishing an ebook. Specifically on publishing a manifesto. While I listened for the 2nd time, I put together a rough draft of “The Single Mom Manifesto” (draft title). I’m currently expanding on it to use as my next blog post.
Jeff suggests in the podcast to have your tribe review your manifesto and give feedback.
So I’m putting myself out there and asking for your feedback on my first ebook. It is in the first draft stage so I will need another couple of days to tweak it. It’s over 800 words which he says it too long.
If you are so inclined I would like your input. Please respond here with your email or send me an email at [email protected] if you are interested in letting me know what you think.
This makes me really nervous but it’s something I need to do.
Thanks for your kind assistance.

Hi Jennifer!
So glad to hear you’ve been working on your manifesto, it can definitely be a difficult thing to evewr feel like it’s “just right”.

I would agree with Jeff that for your manifesto, it’s best to get that down to as few simple ideas as possible. However, when you expand on the topics of your manifesto in a full blog post or ebook that’s when you can freely explore the ideas with more detail. Try to whittle down the manifesto itself as much as possible, and you should share here when you’re done!

Hi Jennifer and Abby,
Who says that a manifesto with over 800 words is too long? I think Jeff says 1000 to 2000 words? His The Writer’s Manifesto has 900 words too (I guess, I didn’t count, hehehe).

Hi Bryan,
I’m keeping it. But I’ve decided to give away a shortened version. I notice several people have long manifesto (Brendon Burchard). I’ve been getting good feedback so I’m going to roll with the punches on this one.
Thanks Abbey been so busy haven’t had time to respond. I’m yet to decide on a cover. So still a work in progress.
Best,

I started a blog a few years ago http://www.jenniferlangdon.com but got discouraged by my own lack of knowledge on how to market it. I hope this course teaches me how to improve it so people can find it and enjoy reading it. Feel free to review it and send feedback.Jennifer Langdon

Hey Jennifer,
I emailed you a link to the pdf but it is also above. This course is quite good. I keep going back to it. I use it as a reference so I have not been able to get through the whole thing yet because it offers so many practical applications.
Let me know if I can help you in any way.
My blog is http://www.jrosemarie.com
Thanks for reaching out. Regards,
